Tra-La-La is a set of 12 illustrations I drew for a wall calendar, printed in 2018 for Good Market. All characters are hand-drawn, digitized in Adobe Capture and completed in Illustrator. They are inspired by precious childhood memories and infused with European folklore. For each character I created a complimentary pattern to enrich the design.
In a different language “Tra-La-La” is a description of a person, who is somehow eccentric, a bit absentminded and very much with a head in the clouds.
